FP Summer Camp 2019

â‘ FP Carnival:  July 15-19, 2019 ($550)
​

What can you create with your imagination and a cardboard box? If you had wheels and wood, pipes and paint, what would you make? Join us this summer to create a low-tech, high-fun amusement park for everyone to enjoy!  We’ll work together to have people lining up for our booths.  In addition to the games, we’ll be building confidence, community and positive connections.  

The FP Carnival shows up in your town only once in years.  Will you be there?

Location: Based in San Mateo 

(with day trip to Adventure Playground in Berkeley)

Grades: K-7 (Limited to 20 participants)

Schedule: 8:30am - 3:00pm (Day5 Celebration at 3:00pm)

Planned Activities: Feelosophy 101, group games and

challenges, making your own FP carnival costume,

inventing with tools and hands, creating a carnival poster,

navigating public transit and reading maps, talent shows, 

creating and playing rides and games at the FP Carnival!

â‘¡FP Investigators :  July 22-26, 2019 (with 2 overnights)   ($650)

Do you like to solve mysteries?  Look for clues?  Collect evidence?  Back for Season 2, FP Investigators are on the case!  Day 1 will have you tackling FPI training academy.  While out on our overnight adventure, we’ll put your critical thinking skills to the test as we collaborate to solve the mystery.  By the end of the week, you’ll be an official FPI agent, empowered with all new travel skills, self-awareness and independence.  Pack your bags and head out under the stars on our annual overnight adventure. Tap into your inner sleuth!

 

Location: Based in San Mateo (with a 2-night overnight stay)

Grades: 1-7 (Limited to 20 participants)

Schedule:  

Day1: San Mateo 8:30am - 3:00pm

Day2: Overnight

Day3: Overnight

Day4: Travel Back to San Mateo 4:15pm

Day5: San Mateo  (Celebration at 3:00pm) 

Planned Activities:

Team building and Feelosophy 101, FPI police academy, make your own FPI field investigation kit and PVC marshmallow gun, Mr. Skelteon’s crime scene challenges, Agent Smith’s profiling games, a chance to unplug and explore, opportunities to learn new cooking skills, campfires and s'mores (of course!).

â‘¢FP Leadership Program: July 15-19 ($350) and July 22 - July 26 ($450)

 

Available to incoming 8th graders and older, who have previously participated in an FP program, the

FP Leadership Program gives your child the opportunity to transition from camper to counselor.  They will

work as part of a group to design and deliver unique and inspiring camp experiences.  These young adults

get to participate in our summer camps while also taking on the roles and responsibilities of a junior

counselor.  The program includes mentoring, opportunities for reflection and growth, and a focus on

developing your individual leadership style. Come Join Us!
