â‘ FP BASECAMP: Buckeyes!  July 5-9, 2021
($575: van transport.  $525: drop off @ parks)

After a year of screens and separation, give your kids the

opportunity to reconnect with the world around them at

FP Basecamp.  This summer will be a time of exploration and

imagination.  A chance for unstructured time in nature.  We'll

travel to local parks to build basecamps and create community.  

Fresh air, friendships and discovery all included.  Add your

tent to our FP Basecamp! 

 

Location:  Morning check-in @ Central Park in San Mateo 

      (PLEASE NOTE: on certain days we will travel to other local parks.  

      If you want your child to be transported via camp van, please select

      that option at registration.  If you would rather, you can drop your

      child off at the various locations)

Grades:     Entering grades 1-7 (Limited to 20 participants)

Schedule: 8:30am-3:00pm, M-F 

Planned Activities:

Campers will enjoy Feelosophy 101, group games and challenges,

creating their own hiking stick, constructing a basic shelter, discovering

where the trail leads, making sit-upons, climbing trees, building forts,

navigating downtown San Mateo, identifying local plants, and celebrating with an FP Basecamp Cookout with s'mores!

â‘¡FP BASECAMP: Redwoods! July 12-16, 2021

($575: van transport.  $525: drop off @ parks)

What would you do with a hiking stick, a blue tarp, an

endless supply of 300ft tall redwood trees and an entire day to

explore?  Come travel with us to some of the most magical

redwood forests on the peninsula and see where your

imagination takes you!  This summer, we'll build basecamps

and create community.  Dirt, friendships and laughter all

included.  What will your FP Basecamp adventure be?

Location: Check in @ Central Park, San Mateo

                    (with day trips to various redwood trails on Skyline and HMB)

      (PLEASE NOTE: on certain days we will travel to other local parks.  

      If you want your child to be transported via camp van, please select

      that option at registration.  If you would rather, you can drop your

      child off at the various locations)

Grades:    Entering grades 1-7 (Limited to 20 participants)

Schedule:  9:00am-3:30pm, M-F 

Planned Activities:

Team building and Feelosophy 101, hiking adventures, building your

explorer skills toolkit, creating your own hiking stick, constructing a

basic shelter, building forts with friends, enjoying the magic of the

redwood forest, climbing trees and celebrating with an FP Basecamp Cookout with s'mores!

â‘¢FP Leadership Program: July 5-9 ($425) and July 12-16 ($425)

Available to incoming 8th graders and older, who have previously participated in an

FP program, the FP Leadership Program gives your child the opportunity to transition

from camper to counselor.  They will work as part of a group to design and deliver 

unique and inspiring camp experiences.  These young adults get to participate in our

summer camps while also taking on the roles and responsibilities of a junior

counselor.  The program includes mentoring, opportunities for reflection and growth,

and a focus on developing your individual leadership style. Come Join Our Team!
